About Ultimate Revision Books

Ultimate Revision Books sets out to change the way students revise chemistry. 

Reading your notes or a textbook, copying facts and information out, then turning these into shorter notes may help you remember information but it can be slow, tedious and boring! More importantly it’s not the most effective way of learning as you don’t have to think much.

Thinking is key to remembering information, the more you have to think about something the more you are going to remember it. Active learning is about getting you to look at and think about the information in lots of different ways; and then using that information in a variety of activities that are much more interesting than sitting looking at pages and pages of writing.
